First Winter Baldy Atempt . . . Failed

On Saturday after Garrett had a Kidney Stone we (Bry and Garrett) tried to snowshoe to the top of Baldy. We started from Bonneville shoreline parking lot. 4 hours later we got to dry Canyon and did not want to descend 500 feet then gain 3000 more to the summit, so we turned around. After the 6 hour hike we were very tired, but we had a great time and want to try again soon.

OUCH Garrett! Those are painful! And you went snowshoeing right afterwards? You ARE one tough cookie! Rock on!

Up at about 6000ft there is about 1 to 2 feet but most of that has melted.
