First Winter Baldy Atempt . . . Failed

On Saturday after Garrett had a Kidney Stone we (Bry and Garrett) tried to snowshoe to the top of Baldy. We started from Bonneville shoreline parking lot. 4 hours later we got to dry Canyon and did not want to descend 500 feet then gain 3000 more to the summit, so we turned around. After the 6 hour hike we were very tired, but we had a great time and want to try again soon.

Brynne's Gymnastics Show

A great time in Mexico (but sad to have missed everyone at Thanksgiving!)

We had a great time in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico!
Top on our list was the ruins at Tulum! They were incredible and we were
very grateful to have had Alma be our guide!
We also LOVED the beach there at at Tulum -- fun body surfing -- so much
fun we forgot to take any photos, sorry.

We also did a little bit driving while we were there! Like 3 hours to Chitzen-Itza and 3 hours back, all in one day! It was cool, but we spent a lot of time in the Suburban. See how good the Kendy and Gar were! (By the way, this is only one of 100 pictures taken that day!)

Check out:
Kendy's sunburned eye (or should we say pupil) -- FREAKY!! (And this is NOT photoshopped)
Gar walking on water!
Brynne's way cool hairdo!
Climbing down into bat caves
and snokeling in crystal clear cenotes!

Unphotoed highlights: (We'll have to tell ya'll about it sometime!)
Bry avoiding having his driver's license taken away by two Mexican policeman -- a MUST hear story!!
Garrett with Montazuma's revenge
Cave diving in three cenotes -- cool!
Having one of our guides actually WANT a Book of Mormon!
The "100 percent family bar!"
Coolest pool we've ever been in!
Cheri learning spanish (Dan, no wise cracks or comparisons to Mom please!)
Oh, and last but not least -- getting to the airport and having them tell us we were supposed to be their yesterday, when our itinerary said today--YIKES! Let's just say after 27 hours of splitting up, staying in a Mexican urine infested hotel, braving a snow storm in Denver and sending Kendy alone on a flight-- we DID make it home!
